Beyond the Educator

Outside of the classroom, I take pride in extending my passion for working with children in a multitude of ways, including tutoring, babysitting, and most notably, spending my summers in charge of a local summer camp.

Since 2018, I have worked for the Town of Brookhaven Summer Fun Camp, starting as a counselor, to now a Site Supervisor. Facilitating a fun and safe environment where both campers and counselors can make loving, lasting memories has been the highlight of my summers every year!

On a more personal note, when outside the classroom, I am sure to emphasize a good work-life balance, spending time with my nephews and loved ones whenever I can. I also enjoy venturing into several hobbies including cooking, crocheting, baking, and finding new ways to express myself creatively and embrace the everyday beauty in life!
